Can one Softpad key send several shortcuts?

The labels shown are an example configuration, not an export-and-close demonstration.

I'm Artem, the maker of Softpad, which I sell assembled under Nuvko. One key can send up to four keyboard shortcuts in order. The applications receiving them still need to support those shortcuts.

The firmware uses a fixed 20 ms gap between shortcut steps. There's no user-adjustable pause, and the pad doesn't wait for an application to finish an operation before sending the next shortcut. It's a sequence of keyboard input, not an app-aware script.

For example, someone asked about exporting an image and then closing its tab. The pad can send the two assigned shortcuts, but that doesn't establish that the export-and-close task will finish correctly. An export might open a dialog or need time to complete. The close shortcut could arrive while the application is still waiting for a filename or processing the export.

That workflow needs checking in the actual app and OS. A useful question is whether the first shortcut completes immediately, opens a dialog or starts an operation with an unpredictable duration. Softpad's fixed-gap sequence doesn't provide a way to wait for those conditions.

Saved shortcuts can work without the companion running. Automatic app-profile switching needs the companion. Configuration and computer requirements are in Setup and downloads.
